Lovely double room available Monday to Thursday night inclusive, in pretty house in Hornsey, north London, sharing with female home owner. The bedroom is at the back of the house, overlooking a quiet residential street. You would have use of shared bathroom next door to the bedroom, with toilet, bath and walk-in shower. There is also a downstairs loo and basin. The house is end of terrace and has gardens front and back. Upstairs are double bedrooms front and back, with shared bathroom in between. The ground floor has a living room, kitchen, dining room, and downstairs loo. The living room has a wood burner, stereo and TV. The kitchen has cooker, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. The dining room has double doors opening onto a large south-facing back garden. The rent includes fast reliable BT broadband and all bills. Bed linen and towels provided, and room will be cleaned regularly.

There is free on-street parking outside the house, and plenty of spaces. Hornsey is a quiet friendly place to live. Alexandra Park is 2 minutes from the house, with beautiful views over London from Ally Pally at the top. In terms of transport, there is a good bus service from the bus stop 5 minutes away, served by the W3 which goes down to Finsbury Park tube station (on Victoria and Piccadilly lines), and the 144 which goes to Turnpike Lane tube station (Piccadilly line). There are also two train stations 15 minutes away: Hornsey and Alexandra Palace, for trains into Moorgate via Highbury & Islington where you can easily change onto the Overground. It takes 45 minutes to an hour get to most places in London from here by public transport. Nearby Hornsey High Street has shops, a post office, pubs and restaurants. Crouch End is 10 minutes walk away, with a greater range of shops, pubs, 2 cinemas, and places to eat and drink. Muswell Hill is a short bus ride away, with more of the same.
