Forest Hill is a quiet and up-and-coming area of south-east London. The apartment is an eight minute walk away from Forest Hill Station (Zone 3). Five trains an hour to London Bridge (14-20 minutes) and 8 trains an hour to Canada Water (12 minutes) and Shoreditch High St (23 minutes). 4 minutes from Dulwich by bus, 17 minutes from Peckham. We are about 10-15 minutes from the Horniman Museum, a fantastic attraction specialising in anthropology and natural history, set within 16 acres of beautiful gardens overlooking the London skyline. In the immediate vicinity of the flat there is Canvas and Cream - a fabulous gallery come restaurant/bar and the very popular St Davids coffee house (ranked top 25 in Independent Coffee Guide) as well as a number of fantastic gastro pubs: Sylvan Post, converted out of the old Post Office, Dartmouth Arms and the Signal. Recently, a superb sourdough pizza and cocktails restaurant opened up about 10mins away. The high street also has plenty of delis and shops, including a large Sainsburys to choose from. Forest Hill Pools, about 5 minutes away, has undergone a full refurbishment, providing great leisure facilities - including a gym, classes and a 25m swimming pool.
