This bright large double-sized room is in a quiet, clean two bedroom flat and would suit a mature professional looking for a comfortable place to unwind and relax during the working week. A fully supplied kitchen and lounge is available for use, as are laundry facilities but a laundry and cleaning service can be provided. The bathroom has a shower and a bath. As we judge distances by Uber these days, the price from my home to the city is about £8-10 during the day. Clapham road outside is on the cycle super highway, and Victoria and Blackfriars can be reached in 15 minutes. Local buses serve most parts of London and the Victoria Line (Kings Cross, Victoria) and Northern Line (Bank, London Bridge) is a 5 minute walk away, giving 10 minute access to Central London. Immediate local amenities include a gym, shops, bars, banks with Clapham High Street just 5 minutes walk away. The building is peaceful and is a great place for professionals who seek a calm home in a central location. There is plenty of storage for your needs and you are welcome to store your belongings over the weekend. I am a very relaxed person to live with, keeping very quiet in the evenings and enjoying a quiet environment. I am in my early thirties and work in Kings Cross as an events manager. I enjoy cooking, travelling and watching documentaries. I am looking for a Monday to Friday lodger but of course if you let me know in advance you would be more than welcome to stay the odd weekend in London if you liked. You can expect personal attention to meet your needs. I am flexible, looking for the right person, so please do not hesitate to ask me if you would need anything else to make this your home away from home.

Clapham North and Stockwell is a great base for London professionals, with a tube journey into Central London of about 10 minutes. The flat is less than 5 minutes’ walk from the Northern / Victoria line at Clapham North station or Stockwell station, or the overground at Clapham High Street. 2 minutes’ walk away are amenities such as Sainsbury Local, Dry Cleaners, Pharmacy, Cafe etc. There are also 4 or 5 buses to central London and South London on Clapham Road outside the flat. Although very close to central London, the building is quiet, with a mix of professionals and families living here.
