Our flatmate is moving out, and we're looking for somebody to join us in our awesome flat! We're flexible on move-in date and length of term for the right person. About the flat: Located on the third floor (with lift) of this former print-works, just off Long Lane near Bermondsey Street, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom flat is a real gem. With a south-facing terrace and overlooking a quiet courtyard, the flat also features a large, open-plan living/dining/kitchen area. The building is a secure gated residence, set back off of the main road. The flat has been recently renovated to a high standard, with new appliances and wood floors throughout the common areas. There is bike storage in the courtyard, and also space for a bike on the terrace. About the room: The room is a large double room with a south-facing window overlooking the courtyard and terrace. This room also has its own bathroom, with recently upgraded fixtures and fittings. It is fully furnished with a built-in wardrobe and drawers, double bed, and still plenty of room for a desk or further storage. About your flatmates: We're a couple in our early 30s - he's English and owns his own brewery, she's American and works in hospitality/business development. Our flat is pretty quiet during the week and we enjoy chilled-out downtime after work or heading down to our local pub for a drink. On the weekends, we're usually out-and-about in London and also travel a lot for fun.

About the area: With its central location, amazing restaurant scene and independent vibe, Bermondsey is an ideal home for those working in London. Canary Wharf and Charing Cross are a short tube/train ride, and the City, Borough Market and Maltby Street are all a short walk away. The flat is ideally positioned between London Bridge (Jubilee, Northern and National Rail) and Borough (Northern) stations, as well as on the doorstep of multiple buses (C10, 78, 42, 188,1) that go to Central, Shoreditch and Peckham.
