Full Description

The flat includes one bathroom with a shower bath and a spacious kitchen including sufficient worktop space and all necessary kitchen appliances. I have high-speed Wi-Fi yet no usual TV as I am a great believer in books and occupying myself by traditional means such as reading, conversation, dining, cooking without being distracted. Consequently, I’m more than happy to share meals or a glass of wine with my flatmate. The cleaner is servicing the flat weekly and is more than happy to take on additional tasks such as ironing and changing bed sheets at additional costs. Towels and linen are included in the room rental. I have moved flat a lot in my past, not work-related. But this one I have been staying in for the last 4 years feeling very much at home and comfortable. I am a 37-year-old female professional, regularly working from home or travelling and enjoy being in London. Usually, I get up early in the morning, go to the gym which is 3 min away and start my day refreshed and energised. I have occasionally friends over in the evening or have a dinner party on a Friday night with my SE1 Dinner club. I am looking for a quiet but communicative flatmate who also does like a glass of red wine or tea in the evening. Ideally, you are looking for a room Mo-Fr as you are commuting into London. The room is available for 7 days a week for £1100 pound plus extra council tax contribution.

The flat is a spacious 2 bedroom ground floor flat located just a few minutes from Waterloo and Lambeth North station. Being located on the ground floor the flat comes with a very spacious garden in a very quiet and peaceful residential area, perfect for outdoor dining or resting. If it wasn’t being refurbished at the moment you’d hear Big Ben every 15 minutes in the background. The area is probably the best-connected area when it comes to public transport. National rail, tube stations and buses are all easily accessible through a 2-3 minute walk. Upcoming and trendy Lower Marsh with exciting and independent shops, coffee shops and restaurants is just around the corner. If you fancy a visit to the theatre the Old Vic and New Vic are 5 mins away. London Southbank is about 10mins walk away.
