Its a new two bedroom flat (we will be occupying the other room) with a huge bathroom which we will share (we dont always work 9-5 as self employed so we can be flexible and work out a schedule so we dont clash in the morning. It worked out fine with our previous lodger). Your bedroom has a view of the communal garden and has been recently furnished with a combination of vintage and contemporary pieces. The bed and mattress are new and there is also a memory foam topper (not new but very comfy) on the bed. You are welcome to leave your things in your room over the weekend and we also have a duvet, memory foam pillows and bed linen which you are welcome to use to save you bringing your own. You are also free to use the washing machine but would advise bringing your own clothes dryer for room as ours seem to be in constant use! We are Carmel and Chris (we are a couple). We live pretty quietly through the week (theres a lot of Netflix watching with a glass of wine going on) as we work hard and like to keep our home life chilled. One of us is Northern (Middlesbrough), the other is Southern (Wiltshire) and we work in PR and IT. We love music, going to the pub, football, reading, and exploring London (even though weve lived here donkeys years). We are looking for a professional (male or female) who is friendly and will become a welcome addition to our home, but also has their own life, work and friends etc, respects the privacy of their housemates and isnt adverse to washing up after themselves.

5-10 mins walk to Oval tube (northern line) 10 mins bus to Brixton tube (victoria line) 5 mins bus to Loughborough Junction (overground) Our ground floor flat is part of an award-winning low rise development which has been built around a community green space, popular with joggers and dog walkers and is also home to a community centre which hosts fitness classes. We are ten minutes walk from Oval tube station and the famous Oval (Kia) cricket ground and less than five minutes walk from an independent high street with a couple of delis and coffee shops/cocktails bars that often have live jazz. There is also a Tesco Metro and Spar very close to the flat and a PureGym just a few minutes walk from the flat. Brixton is less than a ten minute bus ride away and it has something for everyone including Caribbean markets, independent and chain retailers, bars, global cuisine, Pop Brixton, Brixton Village, the Ritzy Cinema and the 02 Brixton Academy.
