The Room
Overlooking the garden this is a large light and airy double room on the first floor of a detached late 19th century house in a quiet street. It has an ensuite bathroom with shower and provides a wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk, side table with smart TV. There are no cooking facilities in the bedroom and the lodger will use the fully fitted kitchen where a dedicated cupboard and fridge space will be provided. The lodger will also be able to use other living space as agreed. The room will be available for 3 or 4 nights from Sunday evening to Thursday morning. (Rent adjusted accordingly)
The Household
The house is owned and occupied by myself, an active, semi retired lady , working occasionally on various art projects from my studio here at home.
Location
Situated close to Blackheath common the property is a stones throw from Greenwich Park and Blackheath Village. It is a few minutes very short walk to Lewisham Station for trains Central London (approx 18 mins Charing Cross) and the DLR to Canary Wharf and beyond. There are several leisure centres nearby and an open air swimming pool. There are also cycle routes into London.
