The Room
Large quiet room in two floor apartment. The rent is negotiable depending on your needs. You would have use of your own bathroom and toilet. The room looks out onto a beautiful garden and is very peaceful. Shared lounge and very spacious well equipped kitchen with large table to dine at. There is a separate utility room with large fridge and washing machine The apartment is two minutes walk from Norbury train station. with quick and easy access to London Bridge. Victoria, East and West Croydon and also just two stations to Balham tube on the northern line I can send more photos of the rest of the property on request. limited to just 9 on here. My name is Joshua and I live in the property, I have my bedroom and bathroom on the second floor so there really is a lot of space in the flat.
The Household
This is a second floor maisonette. It is very spacious with two bathrooms and two toilets. The room offered here is on the first level and comes with it own large bathroom and separate toilet. For your use only. There is a comfortable lounge that you can use and a very spacious well equipped kitchen. Separate utility room with the washing machine, Fridge and freezer. There are 3 bedrooms. two of these are situated on the second level with the other bathroom. My room is on the second level and. I occasionally rent out the other room on a temporary basis to film and theatre professionals. The flat is very peaceful and (I think) tastefully furnished and decorated. This would really be a nice place to base yourself for your working week.
Other
I believe that I am very pleasant to live with. I am self employed and most of the time quite busy with various projects. I am 59 years old and really enjoy my peace and quiet. Quite creative when the mood and passion take me, I am also quite sociable but value also my privacy and yours. I am quite a good cook and baker and always willing to share a meal, cake or pie that I prepare from time to time, and when time permits me to be creative in the kitchen. I do not really have many rule but I do not allow shoes to be worn in the house. So bring your slippers if you are moving in. :-)))
Location
Norbury is nicely situated between Croydon and Streatham, It have a train station a few minutes walk away from the flat. There are great regular links from here to Victoria ,Clapham Junction and a 20 minute trip. it also serves London Bridge and two stations to Balham where you can pick up the Northern Line tube. There are also buses that go to Brixton through the length of Streatham High Road. And regular buses to Croydon. The location would be ideal for for health care professionals working at Croydon Hospital. Norbury also offers a wide range of shops and restaurants. Large supermarkets Sainsbury and Tesco are not to far away. There are also some nice open green space within walking distance that make for nice peaceful walks on warm evening.
